Our story
Built on Honesty, Trusted for Decades
R S Auto Services has been fixing cars in Van Nuys for more than 30 years, built on a simple idea: tell customers the truth, do the work right, and charge a fair price. Families and local businesses, including commercial fleets, have trusted us with the same vehicles for decades because we do what we say we're going to do.
Our team can diagnose almost anything that rolls through the door, from a daily commuter to a Lexus or Infiniti brought in on a friend's recommendation. We explain what's actually wrong in plain language, use reliable parts, and find the most economical fix rather than the most expensive one.
That reputation was built by the mechanics who trained here and still work on every car that comes in today. Whether it's your family sedan or a fleet of delivery trucks, you'll get the same straightforward, no-nonsense service that's kept customers coming back for over three decades.
- 30+ years serving Van Nuys families and fleets

What customers say
“Rick at RS Auto was kind, honest and sincere. He was a literal walking encyclopedia of automotive knowledge. You could ask him questions about almost any make and model and he could tell you in detail how everything worked and how they were assembled, whether they were old or new. My family has been bringing all of our personal and company vehicles to him for over 30 years.”
“The best mechanics in the valley. Rick was a true auto mechanical genius and his team is the best. RS Auto is a diamond in the rough with no nonsense and straight to the point with any auto issue with truly fair and reasonable pricing.”
“The incredible service I received is beyond words. I've delivered my Lexus to them twice, for two distinct difficulties, despite the fact that I don't know anyone personally (my work suggested them). I received respectful and truthful treatment over the phone. They provide cost-effective repairs that are quick, competent, and warranted.”
